Although Africa is evolving, the accent of the girl is too refined for a little girl from a relatively poor background

The film adaptation makes Lucy Wangari’s short story come to life. It shows the repercussions of electoral violence as well as the domestic violence the young and vulnerable in our societies are subjected to. Well done to everyone.

I love the cinematography of this film and the pacing used in telling the story of the young girl. particularly, the girl made me imagine how life could be when we have no voice.

This FILM speaks volume about the African way of suppressing the truth, until a lone voice springs on to speak to the realities around us.

Great movie. political and domestic violence are synonymous. it was well played out in the plot and masterfully executed.
the girl child faces lots of ills, and some are not lucky to have their voices heard. it’s a sad reality. we should have more of this conversation and play our part in airing their voices. engaging borders just did. what about you?
    weldone to the team.

A powerful and emotional film portraying the devastating consequences of political violence and the need to raise awareness on child molestation especially the less privileged. The impact on Njoki’s life, her silence and the overwhelming devastation she experiences convey the harsh reality faced by countless individuals and families in similar circumstances. Well done, producers.
